Tools we use

Here are some of the tools we employ in the classroom.

In addition to hosting a wide-range of state-of-the-art technology and equipment, LEADR is a hub for teaching and learning through workshops, courses, individual consultations, project development, and scholarly play. History and Anthropology students–as well as any students enrolled in classes that meet in LEADR–are invited to use the lab and its resources. Our primary goal is to facilitate innovative student research (graduate and undergraduate) in History and Anthropology using a variety of digital methods and tools. Our students often build collaborative and public facing work, our showcase is available at digitalprojects.leadr.site.

Engage students in data

Computational and data driven approaches enable students to answer research questions in new ways and with a wider set of tools at their disposal.

LEADR can help with data management, data biography, text analysis, sentiment analysis, mapping, network analysis, and much more.
